Helping women-led businesses find direction

We are a full service studio helping founders build from the foundation up

so you stop wasting time and money on marketing that doesn’t work.

what we believe

Good branding isn’t decoration.  It’s direction.  It’s what helps you make decisions, truly connect to people you care about in an authentic way and show up with confideicne.  At Echo & Stone, we combine brand strategy, brand identity design, business guidance and marketing to help you move from scattered to sure.

01.

Partnership & Collaboration

We believe we are not meant to do this alone – especially as women.  Every project is a partnership built on trust and curiosity.

02.

Clarity Before Creativity

A brand should make sense before it looks good.

03.

Empowerment Through Understanding

We won’t hand you answers, but we will help you find the right ones.  Our goal is to make branding and marketing less mysterious so you understand the choices being made for your business.

04.

Purpose Above All

Pretty without purpose doesn’t work.  Every design decision, business choice and marketing tactic should align with your brand’s values, vision and audience.

05.

Sustainability Over Speed

Good brands aren’t built overnight.  We work at a steady pace with systems designed to support growth long after our work together ends.

06.

Humanity In The Process

Behind every brand is a person with a story, a dream and a lot on their plate.  We lead with compassion and real conversations – not fancy words and confusing reports.

07.

Education & Transparency

We want to give you all the information on branding and marketing along the way so you can make informed choices.  Our job is to guide you, not just deliver end results.

08.

Both-And Principle

Businesses can be both profitable and personal.  Brands live best in the balance between soul and structure.  Our work honors the data and the dream.

How we got here

Echo & Stone began the way most meaningful things do – through years of late night texts, collaboration and a shared belief that the branding world had lost its way.

Over a decade of working together, we saw too many business owners pouring money into branding that looked beautiful but didn’t work and marketing that sounded busy but didn’t move the needle.  Too often, agencies were focused on deliverables instead of understanding.

So we decided to do it differently.

We started Echo & Stone to support businesses that are building something real.  For founders, makers and doers who want to grow with purpose, we offer a more human approach to branding and marketing – one rooted in strategy and honest collaboration.

Sarah Dupree

(It’s pronounced Do-Pray)

Sarah has always seen the story behind the business.

With a degree in communications and a background in advertising, she built her early career working with brands like Toyota, Boot Barn and Yamaha learning how strategy and emotion work together to move people.

After becoming a mom, she stepped away from corporate America and picked up a camera, documenting the lives of other women building businesses between nap times and deadlines.  What started as photography became something deeper.  A passion for helping female founders see who they really are and show up with purpose.

Today, Sarah leads brand strategy and creative direction at Echo & Stone.  She blends big brand insight with the empathy of someone who’s built a business from the ground up.  Her gift lies in helping clients articualte what they really want to say, then turning that clarity into a brand that finally feels right for them.

Erin Leigh

(It’s pronounced Lee)

Erin is equal parts artist and analyst.  A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she designed her first logo at twelve and built her first website before social media even existed.  Over the past two decades, she’s shaped visuals and systems for brands across industries.

Her creative eye is matched only by her love of structure.  Erin has managed design teams, coached business owners through everything from marketing to bookkeeping and built brands that work beautifully and function flawlessly.

After years in California, she recently returned to her hometown on Catawba Island in Ohio, bringing with her a sharp eye, a grounded presence and a belief that creativity is strongest when it’s built on strategy.  At Echo & Stone, Erin turns vision into tangible identity, designing brands with depth and purpose.
